Is it somebody her whit experience whit the new yb085 pump from Cosworth ? I have read the old thread whit the broken house on one, but is it risky to use them anyway ?
It is to much play at the drive shaft, but Jeremy Scott at Cosworth say that it`s ok, but i think he must be a sales men, not a engine builder

Have just fitted one of the new billet style Cosworth oil pumps to my 4x4 cosworth. Pressure is really good 85psi from cold and holds 35-40 on tick over when warm.
Did notice that when fitting there was a bit more play between the hexagonal shaft and the drive in the pump but engine has run fine so far, guess time will tell if it is a problem.

That`s great to hear, but a problem whit it, can be expencive. I got more and more warning about them, so i am a bit worry. I now i have to make another driveshaft, it`s far to much play there, and that whit a new shaft.
