Default Frst wont start

the story so far

I got a flat battery the other day so I took it off charged it put it back on but now The car turns over like normal and evrything works, fule pump primes ect the car just wont fire so took a ht lead off and put a multi-meter on and my brother turned it over and i got no voltage at all. i have check conections as best i can, all fuses and i took the ecu out and checked conector and pins all clean and none burnt but i didnt take it apart im not that brave.

what next? i was thinking i should get the ecu and coil/distributor thingy tested?

Any help apreciated
Mark
