HI lads iv just bort a RS500 ECU for 8 injectors is this a good up grade for my 3dr that will only be running 4 injectors and looking for 350 BHP . and is it any good chip upgrades like ante lag lornch control and so on or have i just lost some ££££££

 

im no expert but surely a normal l6 ecu would have been sufficient?

 

You might be right mate at the mo i have a L1 and i just won the RS500 ecu for £66
i just sore it and fort that seam cheap so i won it ..is it better than a L1 ???????????????

 

Clearly not if the chip is for 8 injectors and you're running 4 still

What stopped you from getting a L6/L8 and a suitable chip?

 

At the mo i have 2 ECU,S and both of them are L1 and one of them dose not work right any way

So wot is a RS500 ECU ( L1 L6 L8 ) i just dont no

And i will be having to by a chip for wot ever ecu i run so thats not on my mind at the mo ..
the car is still being bilt at the mo and when its done i will be takeing it up to MSD to have it all set up
