Car cut out tonight 2 times each for a split second, all the warning lights came on & were flashing away whilst i was still driving. When i use main beam for the 1st time on a journey it always causes the engine to jolt/miss as you flick the main beam on & alternator light glows on main beam. Also noticed the headlights on the interior car display thing that tells you if the boots open etc, the headlights on it fade in & out sometimes & also they flash on & off with the indicators. Also as you crank the car over to start it the rev counter bounces all over the place. I'm sure all the above is linked to a dodgy earth somewhere.

Need to get this sorted before i get car mapped

sounds to me like you have earth problems check all the earths,battery,plenum earths.there is also some down by the front headlight units in the engine bay check them aswell, also the big earth cable bolted on to the engine from the battery negetive terminal
