4x4 Sapphire Cosworth - Turbo coolant banjo
I have a slow leak where the water coolant goes to the turbo (banjo connection on the side towards the head).
I seem to remember there are two copper washers on either side of the banjo, can these be replaced with dowty washers ? I have some with nitrile rubber, but not sure they will stand the turbo housing temps...
Either way, do you know what size the washers are, or, FINIS code, so I can get some before getting anything undone ?
Thanks in advance
Greg

Righty-oh, just what I thought regarding the dowty washers. I've ordered a selection of new copper ones in various sizes
Thanks for the help again
Tabetha, agreed they are cheap, but following my experience with copper washers on the fuel pump and filter I try and use dowty ones whenever I can instead
