As some of you will know ive had issues with my power being delivered to early so want to setup my verniers properly, what would people in the know recommend for standard cam setup? Follow the standard recommendations or can any improvements be had by advancing / retarding the cams when doing this? Would be a proper setup with rocker off and timing disk etc.
Cheers

yeah i had it on rollers Chip but they were reluctant to touch it...
Not sure Andy but ive got away with a tooth out on both the inlet and exhaust so must have some meat on it

This kind of thing is one of the REASONS why rolling roads exist, if you have a set of verniers on an engine, then it is simply a matter of tweaking this way and that way, by minute amounts at a time, to get the best.
ALL engine work, tune ups etc are at the customers risk, obviously sometimes they can hit valves pistons if skimmed a lot(?), but this would be felt turning engine over on the starter anyway.

i sure hope you meant turning over by hand tabetha as torque from starter motor bends valves easily lol
If standard cams then I would only bother with Verniers (if at all really) if the head has been skimmed a bit in the past.....................and it would need to be done properly on the rollers as said
