Default escos help!!!

Right got a lady with a escos and she has no speedo???? she has had a new speedo cable fitted but still nothing????not knowing about the escos just wondering how does this happen or is it common and can it be repaired easy enough. I think she has been told its the speedo drive. And is there a difference between escos, sapp 4x4 and 2wd tca arms?

you can check it by putting a cordless drill onto the cable end at the gearbox and work the drill and see if the speedo works. think there is a diffrence with the tca's not 100% sure tho.

think there is a diff between the tca's but not sure what.
the speedo is driven off the front diff (i think) wouldnt recommend checking with drill as it can damage cables, if you whip the cluster out and move the car at about 10mph you should see the cable turn, it is normally the drive that goes on most cars rather than the speedo itself dont know if it is replaceable but most are a plastic worm drive and wear the teeth off.

note it is in front diff on a 4x4 saff think it is fairly easy to get to

Just spin the cable with your finger you will see speedo jump, when spun the right way.
TCA are different on 2wd versus 4wd, length is different as well as fixing, though 3door is different again.
