finally i can post lol been a mamber since febuary but account had a probelm with it so now i can ask my question that vie been trying to solve for a while now!
ok got a mk4 escort was originally a carb model, so i put a 130 spec 1800 zetec in it and go bored after a while so i got a mk6 rs2k that has been smashed up stripped it apart and ive just finnished rebuilding the engine for it. ive sorted pretty much everything out for it to go in bar the engine mount which is wher emy problem lies:
how should i mount it? is it best to cut off the "body mounting" off a mk5 or 6 and weld into place on the mk4 or to adapt a cvh mount to fit the I4 lump?
any help would be really helpfull as im trying to work out which would be the best way of doing so
