I have just fitted a 1.8 sefi zetec into a 1.6 efi .I changed the cold air senser plug that on the efi is located on the back of the manifold it now sits on the air intake tube.I put a new plug on the icsv idle cont senser valve.today when i went out it was idle at 1500rpm and stuttered when i put my foot down.so i bought a new icsv cost £100,fitted it no gasit was with it nor was there one on the old one just 2 rubber seals on underside of manifold.fitted it the rev stayed at 2000rmp its now drinking fuel and when i stop it takes 3to5 seconds to settle at 1000rmp when ity does its slightly rough idle please help .i cant use the 1.8 ECU because of the bloody PATS the transponder cant be wired in as its wired differnt on mine.why oh why cant it just disabled ?
