Default Rover turbo inlet or zetec.

Ok i'm wandering which is going to be best to use on my zetec turbo. I have both Rover turbo inlet and TB aswell as a 1.8 zetec EFi 115bhp one and TB.
I only want to run about 250 to 300BHP. So the Ford one should be ok but does the Rover one make the car run or drive better? Which is the best to use?
Any body out there who can give pros and cons for each.

well with the original zetec inlet the charge pipe site over the turbo and gets very warm , the rover one is a side feed jobbie and stays alot cooler. also you can put end fed injectors in a rover inlet. if you go for rover inlet give me a shout as i do the conversion plates so the rover inlet bolts straight on the zetec head.

So the rover one is a better option, as far as injectors go. And it helps ACT. The throttle body on the Ford one looks alot smaller is this a problem.

Ilm using a rover inlet on my zt and I'm using a fiesta turbo TB I decided on this as i'm running ofab. if your using ofac or ofab then go with the fiesta turbo TB as its large enough for decent air flow, also Mine runs without an idle control valve so thats another easy option.

without the ISCV... how is your idle... is it nice and smooth or lumpy and erratic ?

I think i'll be running megasquirt. The only thing that puts me of using the rover one is the sensors on the TB its self, I'd need to find out what does what. How much bigger is the 2.0l ford one than the 1.8 TB. Is it worth finding a 2.0 TB.

use a cossie one with a level 6 tps megasquirt will work fine with it. easy to find out what wire does what using a a digital multimeter. Megasquirt will also allow you to use the cossie iscv. i've got a cossie tb at work i'll measure it and let you no what size it is.

there both the same size but the tps does need to be a level 6 that is important earlier tps are just a switch on or off a wide open throttle and closed throttle. this will not work with megasquirt.

Cheers chaps. RST in progess what Managment are you using?
Are they flanges that need welding on to the manifold or adaptor plates?

But the rover one will work?
