Default Ford Focus Rev Problem"PROBLEMS FIXED"read on

hello everyone i am new member.
i have 18i 16v 1999 zetec black top.ghia petrol, right the problem sometimes it does this sometimes it does NOT,starting cold or warm it revs at above 1500 normally 1000.then drops to 850 normal.also driving down the road, remember only sometimes does it,change gear and the revs stay up at the point when you changed!! also found this out drive down the road dip clucth take out of gear release clucth (free wheel) and revs start to go up!! but dip the clucth (but do not put back in gear and revs come back down) !!! i have changed lambar sensor, cleaned throttle body, changed air filter etc.me and couple friends are beat...any you guys help...plus forgot to add this as well..sometimes when i turn the key the clock needles go right over then come back.but car does not start, turn key off then restart normal..i heard some fords do this but my focus does not!! it has done this 3 times in 2months
************************************************** *****
FIXED sticking throttle/or rev high+standing and revs going up= pin hole in air pipe near the icv..THIS problem on a machine would say lambar sensor was faulty so please make sure no air leaks...like i should have done....
************************************************** *****
FIXED clocks needles would go right over when trying to start car=under the rocker cover for plug number two is a heat resistor.if there is a fault with number 2 plug or spark plug lead..try changing them..worked for me!!plus also bad earth would do same thing!!
************************************************** *****
HOPE THESE MAY HELP SOME ONE OUT

Not 100% sure where it is on the focus, but on a m reg mondy is on the side of the inlet below the throttle body, a cylinder shaped object with a two pin connector going to it.

Default later calibration

there is a calibration from ford that addresses revs holding up. requires ids or wds to calibrate.

That is very good of you to report back on the fixed problem should help others out.
I have always maintained this is something that should be automatic, as it is the whole point of the forum(this part).
