Default xflow help ASAP please

hi im just changing my xflow engine in my bonus i have brought an engine out of a fiesta with single point inj.
i have got the engine out and just noticed this.....




what is it? what does it do? and can i bypass it?

thats a fuel pump,just remove it and blank the hole.

then how will the engine get fuel. its the new engine that has the hole blanked and i need a hole

is the blank removeable? (bolted on?), if there is no blanking plate you will need an electric pump like a Facet.

nope i cant remove it. i have a turbo pump but how can/do i need to control the amount of fuel
