Hi,

Does anyone know where I can source spares for the above? I need the syncro rings for 3rd gear and I've been unable to source from anywhere so far

Main dealers don't stock them, can't get them and gearbox repair specialist don't want to sell them....

If I can't get spares anyone know where I can get another knackered box?

Tried ford or Getrag yet?

Hi, I've only tried Ford Dealers. Is it possible to contact Ford direct? i would have expected the dealer to do this if they don't list the parts themselves.

I'll try Getrag next week but after doing a search on the forum it seems that people get re-direct to repair specialists. There is also lots of comments about the Service contracts that are agreed between Ford and Getrag not being as supportive as they should be.
