Got a pre reg Focus zetec climate during the week and have to go back and pick up the manual as missing from the car however I have a really easy question if someone could help me as the sales guy will probably just tell me it standard and correct and I will be back home reading the manual to find out they are talking mince.

Every time I switch on the engine the air con light is always on and I have to remember to switch is off. My old focus it was the opposite and if you wanted air con on you had to switch it on and even if it was on when the engine was shut off when you restarted you had to switch it back on again. Does that make sense? Is is correct or something i need them to look at also i get condensation in the head lights which i never got with the MK1 is this normal?

On the new Focus if the air con. is on when you switch the engine off, it will automatically come on when you restart the engine. It also comes on automatically when the blowers are set to windscreen, so you could try changing the blower direction and it should turn off
