Arrow anyone lowered a ka?

just after any potential pit falls etc, my lass's ka failed its mot on a cracked spring so we got some rs eibach springs from pumaspeed and i'm going to fit them tomorrow.

if anyone has a link to a guide or as i say some general advice? its a 2004 sport ka

They should be pretty straight forward to do. It should have anti roll bar links on the front. Sometimes these are a pain to get off. They have an allen key hole for an allen key in the top of the link rod where they go though the shocker. It will no doubt wear off. I normally get a good set of mole grips and clap them on the back of the link rod then undo the nut. The rest of it is easy.

thanks, i'm off for a bash at it now, i've mainly worked on escorts etc and the setup looks similar hopefully i won't have any problems

easiest car to fit springs ive ever done
rears can do within the hour (to get the spring off just yank the bumpstop over the top of the shock dont fanny around with removing the circlips)
rest is streightforward so are the fronts.
oh yea, slacken ALL bolts u need to remove before removing everything!!!
or ull see yourself bolting things back up to slacken bolts later on

yeah did the rears... four times... only took a few hours.

had to go back and change the springs then forgot to fit the dust boots, then had to make a bush to stop the spring cup moving too far and dislocating the springs with the car jacked up.

i'm sure the fronts won't cause me any bother
