I'd say you are doing it wrong. 1.8 injectors are to big for your 1.6 anyway. 8v head doesn't flow that much air as 16v would and your mod with 2.0 throttle body will give you nothing. 1.6 CVH EFI throttle body is big enough even for 2.1 ZVH so why change one? I'd say you are doing to much mix match here. Wise thing would be to get 1.8 zetec and put what you have on it along with 130 BHP cams...then there would be sense.

Because they didn't make a 16v XR3i in 1990 - it would be a 1990 Mk4 CVH EFi. They didn't put Zetecs in Mk5s until early 1992.

It probably won't take kindly to having the injectors changed because the fueling will be out.

If the engine in question is a CVH - I'd be quite interested to know how you fitted 130 spec injectors to a CVH inlet, being as they are completely different fitments

the injectors are near the same as the 90 spec 3i's are efi they actually fit straight in

and with the 2.0 throttle body on there it made a huge noticable difference

yes i know that 90 spec 3i's are EFI. The injectors fitted to a 130bhp (zetec!!!!!!) engine aren't even close to being the same fitment.

I would love to see a picture of this.....
