hi chaps

not been on for a while changed 1 of my sierra's [ its ok was the 2.8 not the 2.9 ] got myself a 1800 escort td . but boot wont open on the electric
switch inside . changed the switch and also the micro switch's in the boot still no joy plz help .

could be the earth point for the tailgate which is the tailgate hinge pins,they get rusty over time and dont make good contact.try tapping them back n forth with a hammer n punch and some wd40 see if it helps.

could also be the tailgate solenoid thats given up the ghost.press the boot button and see if it makes any noise
