just completed my head rebuild on my 2wd saph. everything was put back together correctly. i got it started then it just died. i then poped the bonneyt and saw the dizzy cap poped off from one side. when i looked inside i noticed the rota arm had broke. so off i went to buy another. put it in and that broke. The guide inside the arm is snapping off from it locator then the arm just spins freely. Anyone ever have the same issue..... what have i missed?

 

Its hitting the cap, most likely the wrong cap or your not locating the cap correctly on its positioning lug.

 

well i got another 2 arms will try again in the morning.... its been a long day..

 

make sure your arm pushes right down on the dizzy spindle[just a thought]

 

are you changeing the cap with this as they should be matched
