Has any one fitted a s2 gear box in a mk 6 escort i'm building a 2.0l turbo for it and am thinking of robbing the gear box out my s2 any ideas whats involved in getting to fit physically and what fly wheel and clutch to use.
i'm sure tha car has an ib5 box init already.

If its the same set up as a mk5 then a mk4 box doesnt mount the same,ive just put a mk4 box in my mk5 and i had to use the caseing off the mk5 box so i had the mountin points back,if you put a mk3 box in its a straight fit.hope this helps
