Hi all,

My wifes fusion, 1.4 03 reg stated to misfire at low revs. so i changed the plugs and the coil and this cured the problem. But the engine management light has stayed on and i dont know if this needs to be reset or if a different problem remains. Is there a way to clear this light myself or does it need to go to an expensive 'expert' ?

Try and take the car to a back street garage . Alot of these garages have the scanners which can be plugged in to check the fault. No doubt the light hq only on cause of the old faulty coil.
