Default Small Electrical Issue.

Well i got my beloved car back yesterday, but with it came 1 small electrical issue. The rear window de-mister doesn't work any more.

Something i have noticed when i stick the car in reverse, the light on the button flashes for a split second.

Any idea's ?

Thanks, Damien.

Sounds like a dodgy connection, possibly on rear tailgate pins/pads.

I am sure th later escorts like yours use a PIN/PAD arangement between the tailgate and body, these often get cruded up, so a clean might help.
Lift up the tailgate and you will see 2-4 pins sticking out that go onto a pad of contacts when it is closed, try cleaning these.
