Default Stroking a YB motor?

Would it be a bad plan to increase the stroke on a turbo YB to either 84mm or even 88mm? I used to have a mk1 with a stroked N/A pinto (92mm x 84mm if I remeber corectly) and it still revved as well as the previous 2.1 but drove a hell of a lot nicer.
Anybody had any experience of how stroked Cossies perform and also how long they last?

this has been done before ,but you will increase the strain on the bottom end by 25 percent, and tend to throw rods off , but if you want a low down grunty engine go for it
