Default esc turbo van lowering

hello all thanx for youre input on my last thread. just wondering if anyone can tell me how to lower the rear end on a mk4 escort van . picking van up in morning to start build (what have i let myself in for ha ha )and also can some body tell me the best way to go about the swirl pot in the tank can i buy a tank or do i have to weld it into van tank thanx in advance Dan

i dont know about the lowering but on the fuel tank i'd just put an rs turbo fuel tank on with the pump aswell.i bought i brand new one for my project off ebay & it was £60.

done one of these years ago i got some lowering springs from fibresports that do the kits but dont know if they are still around as this was 12 yrs ago. they bend the rears to suit what drop u want and when u recive them u send ur s of to them p.s if u r doin a rs van i am breaking a mk4 van and it has a light grey head lining like the 90 spec rs these are very hard to fine you can have them made but a friend of mine payed £100 for this in 94 and that was without visors on the plastic covers for above the small windows

seen the leaf spring reversed but the is way of keeping it in place as the bottom has a locating pin if u put it on top like a friend of mine did it is only relying on the u brackets and it will move resulting in the van roleing

well went to look at van today bloke said it was mint but the battery tray had rotted right out was expecting a little work but not having to buy tin in 4ft by 8 ft sheets so walked away . as luck would have it a friend of mine is selling an s reg esc van.does the rear end lower the same and does every thing fit the same cause i am seriously tempted as its newer and obv better than any mk 4 iam goin to find
