Why dont you try calibra turbo pistons, They take the cc to alost 2100. I know lots of people recomend the for zetec turbo builds and zvh's

i believe with the 1.8 you can use a de-comp plate that'll let you run a maximum 1 bar and you can keep origional pistons but you'll still need to modify water pump, tensioner, breather system etc. if you google search quantum zetec i think it is there is a full how to on building zvh's

thanks project rs.ive heard of the decomp plate but is there anyone on here who is using one to effect. Its got to be reliable i would rather spend say 500 on pistons then have a load of problems later on.All the other mods wont be a problem i have access to a laith and mill machine.Am also gonna plug oil returns on cylinder block as well as head gasket to be sure that wont fail just unsure what to do about compresion

I've never heard of a decomp plate for a zvh only for full zetecs

My zvh certainly doesn't have a decomp plate either

yes mate if you can machine the pistons down and you can run 1bar of boost on them but make sure its setup to run a bar and dont just dont turn the boost up..
