Heat shield for wiring loom?
I'm re-newing the alternator wiring on my saff and want to wrap the loom in some kind of heat protection, and maybe the exhaust manifold.
What would you recommend i use folks?
I've had a look on Demon Tweeks and Burton power websites and there's loads of different types so i'm a bit unsure whats best?
Cheers, Karl

If you want to wrap it make sure the wrap is held off so there is an air gap between the wrap and wire, so it is a loose fitting sleeve sort of thing.
I have to do this on LG cars where the fuel pipe(LPG) passes within a certain distance of the exhaust systems, you buy buy a flat sleeve that simply slides over , it is heat reflective silver material.
