Hi

I have a problem with my escort when I brake hard or when I accelerate hard and the car moves over uneven ground I get a bang/nock noise from the passenger wheel.

The car has gaz coilovers and area six lower arms.

Would say its a lower ball joint or bushing from experience but, you say you have Area 6 arms.



Are they solid bushings?

dont know if this helps, but i had the same prob so i changed the bottom arm...still the same. until i found out the engine mount had worked loose lol it was the engine going ever so slightly backwards and forwards...but evry1 hu sat in it and listened also thought it was the ball joint on the lower arm.
