right basically stuck an efi escort loom and a fez efi engine into the gfs car, it is a mk4 mfi car btw, well was!! long story short cant get it to run, has power etc and ecu is getting power but it wont fire up. spent along time now trying to sort it with no luck and the only thing i can now logically put it down to is the relays, bascially got the loom from a breakers and it was missing all the relays under the bonnet and in the car so stuck the mfi ones in the fusebox and the ones that go in the car looked the same as my cossie ones so borrowed them but still no joy.


Has anyone/could anyone take a pic for me of what relays are under the bonnet of a mk4 efi escort and the ones in the car?!

Unfortunatly there arnt any at the local scrap yards, there was a mk5 escort with the older efi lump so took the relays out but the fuse boxs are different so need to know which ones go where on the mk4 car!!

Would really aprecaite it and if it runs will make my xmas and my life easier

cheers mate, im not running the big purple fuel pump relay inside the car the fuel pump is a yellow one but will compare the underbonet ones and see if swapping a ffew about helps.

Even a ford tech list would be useful if poss as i can check what relays go where by the serial numbers!!
