Default quick info before the chance goes

hi

i am planning either a turbo or super charger conversion in my escort 1.6, i have been told to get the right compression i can do it one of three ways (thicker head gaket, 1.8 head on the 1.6 bottom or forged pistons)

what i am wondering is can i use a 2.0 head on the 1.6 bottom end like you can the 1.8?

many thanks

no, you cant use a 1.8 head on the 1.6 bottom. your best opton is to but either a 1.8 or 2 litre engine as they are easy to swap over and is much better to turbo charge. the 1.6 is very limited.
