my friends cosworth wont boost over 0.8 bars (cossie have chip and 350 HP)

As above also i take it he has a 3 bar map sensor fitted if running 350 bhp

 

If he is using an amal valve to control the boost is this jetted correctly?

 

Just remove the restrictor valve on the amal, pull it out completely.

sierra is running on 2 bar map sensor and manual boost controler, there is no air leaks
btw. problem are started after remaping ECU before that sierra was running with 280 PS on 1,5 bars without problems
and this remaped ECU works on another sierra without problems

 

Sounds like he is running his original MAP sensor and I think that the remapped ECU needs a 3bar MAP sensor.

Go and see what the other Sierra has for MAP sensor and take it from there. That's probably the cause.
