Default Turns over but wont catch ...

Right, Long story cut short, Firstyly I know its not a Ford but I know you guys know your stuff!!

Car is a Rover 416S, R reg, It was running fine, Went to start it next day and it didnt want to play, Went through the usuals, Then noticed that the King Lead and HT Leads where sparking/arcing, So bought a new set today, Fitted them and was turning over a bit better and almost catching but nothing.

Noticed that there was a spark coming from the back of the block again! So could it be the Coil Pack? It is not a constant spark, I cant pin point where its coming from, But surely it couldnt be nothing but the Coil sending sparks?

Any ideas?

Heres the list so far of things done so far:

Battery Died through trying to start the car so much = New Baterry Fitted.

King Lead was Sparking, On closer inspection so were at least 2 of the HT leads = New set of Leads Fitted

When changing Leads, I cleaned up Distributor cap and the 4 metal connections also cleaned up the metal Rotor arm connection.

Cleaned up Spark plugs, Which were wet and oily.

Also the Red Lead to starter wasnt to clever, So fixed that aswell.

Sprayed it with easy start.

And guess what .... Still nothing lol.

does it have twin coilpacks bolted to the block or a single coil bolted to the wing?
