Trying to get the rear fogs working for mot, checked bulbs and fuses and just wondering if there is a relay for them? anyone know whick one it is on a mk6 fuse board?

juat a quick thing but you need the lights on first too for it to work. just saying incase you didnt know

 

I know mate, cheers. I think its the green relay which seems to work fine so perhaps dodgy connections around the tail lights

 

yeah they can get dirty, get something to clean all of the contacts, i have used emery paper in the past and it comes out on top. however, recently on one of my rear lights the bulb looked fine, filament was intact but the bulb itself was dead, try another bulb.

 

Problem solved, I have a dodgy switch, tried another one from the car i removed the engine from and it turns out to be faulty too, anyway if i keep punching the switch it eventually works lol, will pick one up from the breakers.
