Default My car is possessed!?!?!?

Chaps and Chappettes,

Really hope someone can help me. The idle on my 1800 focus rises as i slow down, rolling along in traffic with foot on clutch at 10 mph revs show 2500!! I've repaired collapsed pipes, cleaned the maf, iscv and throttle body and it's now performing perfectly apart from this. Anyone else had/have this problem, any solutions would be much appreciated. I'm starting to get really hacked off with the car and really need your help.
Thanks,
James

sounds odd but is there any chance you could have mis adjusted the idle control valve?

cheers for your help folks, after i cleaned the iscv i reset the ecu and it was still doing it. 127 miles later it's all sorted, runs smooth as silk and even pulls harder. just takes a while to settle
