Default abs sensors

i am showing a fault light on my dash for abs system, how can i test each individual sensor, do i need a scope or can i do some sort of resistance checks.
Any information greatly appreciated

If you disconnect the abs sensor and if you can get hold of a multi meter put the 2 probes from the multi meter in the 2 electrical connections on the sensor. Put the multi meter on resistance and spin the wheel. You should get an up and down voltage when the wheel is spinning round if not i would of said the sensor is fucked.
