lamba sensor
hi guys , i am just doing the clutch and gear box on my sapphire ,so the exhaust is off from the down pipe , were is the best palce to fit a lamba sensor ,also i i wanted to run a closed loop ,and an afr metre do i nee 2 or can one lamba sensor do it ?
thanks gary
thanks gary
You can take the reading for both items off the one sensor.
I assume you have L8 then for closed loop ?
The best place for the sensor is about 6" back from the exhaust flange on the turbo and pointing upwards as loads of room and it gets hot quick here.

wicked , no havent got an l8 yet , i am wanting more power ,but dont want lag
so i was thinking of a t34 .63 roller bearing , but that kinda ruins the closed loop idear being that it will be on boost at 2000 rpm , , havent decided what to do yet , ita just while the exhaust is off i was gonna weld two in if i needed to for future , but i dont need to , thanks

If you are going to go closed loop, you can do this with any turbo, it does not matter where it produces boost, because any amount roughly below 70% power it will still be closed loop anyway if working correctly.
