right basically i need some help, im in the process of fittin a wide band lamber gauge 2 my car only problem is this now take the amount of gauges that need power to 4

problem is the power n earth is taken off the back of the stereo

In my eyes this aint good, so what im thinkin is makin a seperat loom 4 gauges, good idea in practice but in no expert so could do with advice on how 2 go bout doin this

The way i thought bout doin it is takin a direct live (fused)and a earth from the batt n usin a relay thats triggered by a ignition live?

any 1 got any ideas?

What you propose will work fine, as no great deal, of current anyway.
14/030 will be plenty big enough for this purpose, supply could come from ignition switch itself as won't be huge demand on it, earth just needs to be a good chassis earth, anywhere on the body.
