Motec ecu into a saph cosworth
Im in the process of having a Motec ecu fitted to my saph. We are trying to setup the ignition timing at the moment.
Is there a TDC mark on the crankshaft pulley? I had a quick look but I cant see anything.
At tickover, with the timing light on cylinder 1, the notch on the pulley lines up with a lug on the block...how many degrees BTDC is this?
Also, does anyone know how many degrees BTDC does the CPS trigger on either the rising or falling edge.
Thanks lads

There is NO TDC mark, it relies on the LUG being in position, the DEEP mark on the pulley is 16 degrees BTDC, and is a refference for checking the non adjustable timing of the cossie engine/ecu.

Thanks Tabetha,
That should be enough info to get this job done. Now that i know this mark is 16 degrees BTDC I can set the map in the ecu to 16degrees and adjust the 'crank index position' until the timing light lines up this mark on the pulley.
