Default presure in the cooling system?

should the pipes feel like there is presure in them? and how much?

the pipes on mine feel quite hard, but the cooling seams fine. Rarely goes over half way on the gauge?

normal?

Most cooling systems run when hot with about 15 psi, if any more then you may have a head gasket problem

If not using water etc then normal, 15psi might not seem a lot, and most don't have anywhere near like this amount anyway but when it is water pressure inside a pipe/vessel it is massive as water is denser than air, they will be firm when hot.
