rear disk conversion on mk 3 cabriolet.
just done a rear disk conversion on my mk3 escort cabriolet 3dr cossie discs and callipers. i cant find a handbrake cable to fit i have tried 3 different rs2000 cables but they are either to long or to short can anybody help please?????
The rear section of a Mk5 RS2000 2 piece cable is what you need.
Depending on what orientation you mounted the calipers in, the cable may be a tight stretch.
Its the passenger side which isn't adjustable which is usually a little bit tight, mine was JUST long enough.
Mounting the calipers at 12 o'clock is the best place for a number of reasons.
Hope this helps
