I've just fitted the 5 spoke Mondeo Si alloys onto my XR4x4 with 205/50R16 tyres on, got to say they look brilliant, but I am having problems with them catching on the front wheel arch and removing clumps of rubber!
I thought that they should fit alright from the various sizes of wheels that I read about on the XR4x4, but no. Is is to do with the offset of the wheel?
I don't really want to buy new tyres as the ones on the wheels are nearly new. I've heard of getting arches rolled, is this expensive? Or does anyone have any other ideas?

Was my description of rolling the arches the right way to go about it? If this doesn't work I assume that I'd have to get a set of 4 195/45 R16 as with it being 4 wheel drive I have to have the same size wheels alround?
