hi guys jus got my new car yesterday, been looking at this forum and i was hoping you can give me some advice

i have a 1999 (t) focus 1.8 zetec (manual) i wanted to know what spark plugs do you guys reccomend? i was going to the dealer but i thought i ask you guys first as i guess genuine ford ones are the way to go? or should i go for the branded NGK, Bosch etc etc

i reccoment bosch super 4 or bosch super plus.

not all cars can have bosh super 4 plugs as they are made for limited amounts of vehicles but the super plus plugs are just as good, i put them in my escort and straight away noitced smoother running and better fuel economy and slightly better trrottle responce with slight better accelleration.

i love them so go halfords and get some in. NOW lol

hope this is the answer you wanted. dont get NGK what ever you do theyre shite, honestly.

hi guys thanks for the tip on the bosch's i guess they will be ok for my 1999 (t) 1.8 zetec engine then? i heard some stories that some performance plugs can be detremental for the engine as its designed for the normal genuine ford plugs?

bosch ones are designed for the particular engines they fit and will cause no problems, promise. i used them in my 1997 1.6 zetec and it runs a beauty.
