electric windows

my electric windows arent working on drivers side for 2 front windows what could be the cause

they seem to start working after a while then stop

Which windows are not working ?
Drivers side TWO front!!
Whichever window, check power at switch first, then follow down to motor and check at motor.
If all windows stopped check fuse first.

What car is it? im guessing you have 4 electric windows by the wording you have used?
