Have an oil leak which appears to be coming from the area around the cam belt adjuster pulley and the water pump - I have changed the cam oil seal and put thread lock on the cam bolt but the leak still appears to be there .

I have checked the head gasket and it is dry so doesnt appear to be from there !!

The main area where oil seems to be building up is on the cam tensioner at the bulkhead side but also some on the front end side.

Where can it be coming from - could it be a crankshaft oil seal ??

Oil is spraying onto the bonnett from the cam belt, water pump tensior pulleys etc and driping in various places but I am running out of ideas and vefore I take it all to bits just wondered if anyone had come accross this before.

 

Why dont you just clean all the oil off, start the engine and watch to see where it originates from........
