Hello Fellas,

What can be the reason that I have to put the 4th batterie in my RST within 1,5 year??
They all die within a few months and don't want to be recharched by then....

Any help is welcome

hi mate i had same prob for ages on my van but it was electrical my van had to be revved 300rpm before alternater kicked in get voltage meter on battery when its started

 

3000rpm a ment

 

usuall cause is cold weather and not driving it or ya altenator
is shagged. in the winter if i dont drive my cossie for bout 2 weeks
the batt hardly has enough poke to start the engine.
i would most likely say the regulator in the alt is screwed.
for the price of 4 batts a year i would take it to a auto sparky
or find anthor alt.

 

Alarms and lack of use can kill batteries aswell.
