HEEEEEEEEEEEEEELP !
i have a rs turbo engine sitting here which i got for spare parts while converting my cab to turbo. i notice today that the distributor end of the cam has markings KCVH35 . . . i have checked the engine thats in the car and the cam in that is marked.... PB235C (MIGHT BE BP235C)..... can any one tell me whats what? i cant find these numbers anywhere online. are any of these performance cams? if so which one and which one will be best? any helps appreciated
Hello mate i am new to this site to but the cam number you said that is in your other engine something 35 is a kent cam which would be better than a standred cam so i would use the other one mate hope this hels!!
https://passionford.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=271032 have a read of this it dont tell you how to identify the cams but it might help you choose which cam to run
DON'T just go sticking cams in, if lift is too high because it is a N/A cam you will have problems.
KCVH35, does indeed sound like a KENT cam so ring them on 01303 248666, and ask them what exactly it is.
The BP235C will be a PIPER by the sounds of it, are you sure the "3" is not an "8" ?
Piper are on 01233 500200.
