Default EFI conversion on S1? pin2 edis?

Hi folks, on with my first ever efi conversion on a mates S1,
Been checking with the rsbibble web site,

The instructions say to cut the wire from pin 2 on the edis and isolate it.

Does anybody know why??????

Cheers.

its just not applicable to the turbo wiring. Not sure if leaving it connected causes problems or not, but what we do know is it isn't present on a turbo, so you may aswell cut it

Having just spent the day helping Chunt69 with his EFI conversion i can now tell you pin 2 is wired into the EDIS plug but is only a few inches long and has nothing connected to the end of it

That makes a lot of sense,
The loom my mate got for his S1 had the wire cut after about 2-3 inches.

Thought someone might have already been messing with it, but I guess thats how it must come from factory.

nice one.
