Default Dragging brakes?

People that have upgraded to bigger callipers, do your brake pads release completely from the discs?

I’ve got Tarox 6pots on my Escort Cosworth, and have noticed that they run ever so lightly on the discs. Now that I’ve warped the discs, it’s even more noticeable.

The calipers utilise normally SQUARE CUT SEALS so they retract when the pedal is released, only talking about 1mm or so but enough, so as not to cause drag, but it is not unusual to have a high spot on the disc which gets touched ever so slightly each rotation.
