Default cosworth t5 help

hi how hard is it to replace the 3rd and 4th gear syncros on a 2wd cossie box as i have to 'feel' mine into those gears and double clutch to down change and its really annoying!!
especially as the box is otherwise very good, doesnt even whine!!

Obviously the box has to come apart big time.
The 3/4 th synchro assy has a blocking ring either side of it on the shaft.
These, as you probably know are found on the output shaft so is major surgery.
You MAY(v.likely), also need a puller for the first gear.

I would say get the whole box done for around the £350 mark.
When removing the fifth gear set on these the bloody things break often, you need a special heater, or electrode heater to do this one gear anyway so best leave the hassle to someone else, and they have to give a warranty as well!
