Default Turbo smoke

Hi everyone.
Ive just taken my cossie out for its first drive in 6 years as its been stood in a garage. So far so good, i only took it for about 10 mins, half a mile or so but the turbo was really hot and smoking a little. I know they warm up quickly but should i be worried!!??
Thanks.
Muffster.

the turbo itself was smoking? not from the exhaust out the back? If its just smoke of the turbo housing etc it will probably burn off and be fine

Yes it was just smoking a bit around the turbo itself, not from the exhaust.
Cheers for that.

You worry too much!!,
imagine havinmg explsions going on inside you, you would smoke with all that heat too!!
As said it will soon clear up, as all sorts of crap on the turbo after being stood.
