Hi...
My mate drives 2wd Cosworth and will go from stage1 to stage2... The chip is made for T34 and ofcause greens. Will it be way out in the woods to run his present T3 with this stage2 kit fitted until he get hold of a T34? Will it be ok without blowing the engine??
Or no way around... no stage2 until the T34 is in the garage ready to fit??
Anyone??
Thanks

The T3 will at the limit at 20psi, and of course the yellow injectors are running full duty cycle at stage 1 w/15psi.
The chip's map is designed for the behaviour of the turbo it's gonna be used with, so really he either needs a stage 2 chip for a T3, or a T34 to use his stage 2 chip.

Okay... We are aware of this... but what my mate would to do, until he have bought his T34, is fit greens, 3 bar mapsensor and stage2 chip, and drive with he T3 with what ever boost it makes. If it does not blow anything up.
But if it is completly
dum.. then he must wait until he have the money to buy his T34 that fit the chip.
Thanks

This is bollocks 15 psi is 15 psi, the engine doe snot know if it is a leaf blower providing the air or a turbo off a ocean liner, the pressure prouced is what counts, measured by the map sensor and added fuel accordingly!!
The window of the turbo is different but AFR will remain safe, so long as max boost not exceeded.
