not really trying to do any thing it all started off with me racing a rx. i was going for it but the escort had a different idea & and went boom at about 120 mph since then it keeps melting pistons even though its a completely different engine its getting costly cant take it to a tuner cuz it doesnt last long enough

i just had a quick look at the fourth injector the seal is fucked and the clamp that holds the injector in place is bent upwards so the injector moves in & out between 5-10mm could that be the prob?

Ive got a set of injector seals and collets if you want to buy some, the collets alone are in excess of £3.50 +VAT from Ford
Clamps are NLA but you can buy stainless ones from auto specialists

fair enough, you'll have a job tracking down those clamps though........i've got a set i bought new and used but are still like new, think im going to hoard them for now on a "what if" basis

check your voltage at the pump as old wiring can cause LOW volts at pump = less fuel=lean= melted piston=£££££'s or as above injector fault,have the fuel pressure checked by a pro before u large it again
